Where do the lessons take place?
Most classes take place using Zoom or Voov. However, in person classes are available if you are based in the areas of Newport and Gnosall.
Do you have a teaching qualification?
I have the following qualifications:

- BA (Hons) Early Childhood Education
- TEFL (120 hours)

How can I pay?
I can accept direct bank transfers or through Stripe.
How do you provide feedback?
I provide feedback after each class and a detailed monthly report if requested.
What is your cancellation policy?
Any cancellations made more than twenty-four hours before the start of lesson will incur no charge.
Any cancellation made with less than twenty-four hours notice will incur the full fee.
When do you teach?
Classes are held between 4pm-7pm Monday to Friday during term time.

I don't usually work during school holidays but upon request I can.
My child has a SEND diagnosis. Do you offer lessons for SEND children?
Absolutely! I have experience teaching children with SEND. Please let me know when enquiring whether your child has a SEND and any specific information that you think is relevant for me to know.
What can I do at home to help?
As a rule, regular practise of multiplication, reading each evening at home, positive conversations with rich vocabulary and providing a blend of academic tasks and fun activities.
When do I pay?
At the end of each month, I send an invoice. Payments are due within seven days of receipt.
What do I need to provide during the tutoring sessions?
It depends on the subject. However, usually just a pencil and rubber.
What courses do you offer?
​This all depends on the subject, age and ability of each individual student. It varies according to your objectives and the level they are currently working at.
My child is a little nervous about the tutoring sessions. How can I make them feel more comfortable?
Learning and developing has to come from a personal will and desire to do so. However, as a parent, you can gently remind your child that the sessions will be a safe space for them to make mistakes and that learning will take time. Encouragement and positivity around tutoring will provide a strong foundation for the sessions.
